In this course, the student will gain an understanding of how individuals, businesses, and governments use scarce resources to satisfy unlimited wants and needs. The student will learn key terms, ideas, and skills in order to apply knowledge to current, local, national, and international economic activities. Students will demonstrate knowledge of both microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts. NCAA Prerequisite: None

In this course, students will gain a thorough understanding of the principles of economics that apply to an economic system as a whole. This course places particular emphasis on the study of national income and price-level determination, and also develops students' familiarity with economic performance measures, the financial sector, stabilization policies, economic growth, and international economics. This course will focus on preparing students to take the AP exam successfully and the pace is comparable to a college-level course. NCAA Prerequisite: None AP Honors
